As a school, it’s important to make sure that prospective parents and their children feel welcomed and supported as they explore the possibility of joining our school community. Hosting tours of our school is an excellent way to showcase the great things our school has to offer and to provide a glimpse into what daily life looks like for our students.

For parents looking to enroll their children in our nursery or reception classes in September 2024, we will be offering tours of our school. During these tours, parents will have the opportunity to meet our teachers, see our classrooms, and learn about the curriculum we offer. Our staff will be on hand to answer any questions parents may have and to provide more information about the admissions process.

We understand that choosing a school for your child is a big decision, and we want to make sure that parents feel confident in their choice. Our tours are designed to give parents a comprehensive look at what we have to offer, and we hope that they will leave feeling excited about the possibility of joining our school community.

Admission details

Eastfield Primary School admits 30 – 60 children into Nursery (this will depend on hours requested) and 60 children into Reception each September.

In our Nursery – We now offer a 15 hour or 30 hour week.

The 15 hour week can be either 5 mornings (8:30 – 11.30am) or 5 afternoons (12:15-3.15pm).

The 30 hour week (full time) hours are from 8:30am – 3:15pm. For a full week we ask for a £5.00 a day top up.

The 30 hour places are offered provided parents are eligible, are registered with HMRC and can provide the school with the required 30 hour code. Click here to see if you are eligible for a 30 hour place https://www.gov.uk/apply-30-hours-free-childcare. Please give your code to the school office as soon as possible. It is the parents’ responsibility to update their details every 3 months to keep their place.

Reception – School hours are 8:40 – 3:00pm.

From Year 1- Year 6  We deliver a 32.5 hour school week, from 8.40am to 3.10pm Monday to Friday.
