When choosing a secondary school, children and their adults should visit their prospective schools to help make sure that the school that best suits the needs of the child is chosen. In September and October, secondary schools have open days where parents and Year 6 children can visit and find out more about the structure of the schools and their approaches to learning. A list of the open evenings can be found at the bottom of this page. Please check the school websites for updates and amendments.
Parents can begin to apply for secondary schools from 1st September up until 31st October. Offers from the secondary school will be emailed on 1st March 2023.

*A Year 6 parent secondary transfer meeting will be held at Eastfield school on Thursday 29th September 2022 at 3:30pm.*
Once a child has had their secondary school confirmed, their Y6 class teachers cooperate with their secondary school counterparts to help make their transition as smooth as possible.
