We are so excited to welcome new families to Eastfield Primary! Choosing a school for your child is an important decision, and we’d love for you to come and see what makes our school such a special place to learn, grow, and thrive.
Our prospective parent tours are a wonderful opportunity to step inside our vibrant classrooms, meet our passionate teachers, and get a true feel for daily life at Eastfield. You’ll have the chance to ask questions, explore our curriculum, and see first-hand how we nurture happy, confident learners.
We know how important it is for you and your child to feel welcomed and supported during this process. Our tours are designed to leave you feeling confident – and hopefully as excited as we are – about becoming part of the Eastfield community.
Nursery
Flexible Options to Suit Your Family
Eastfield Primary School admits 30–60 children into Nursery each September (depending on hours requested). We proudly offer both 15-hour and 30-hour Nursery places, so families can choose the option that works best.
- 15-hour option: Choose five mornings (8:30 – 11:30) or five afternoons (12:15 – 3:15)
- 30-hour (full-time): 8:30 – 3:15, Monday–Friday.
New for this year: We are delighted to offer free lunchtime supervision for 30-hour children — no extra cost! Simply send your child with a packed lunch so they can enjoy eating with friends and stay for the full day.
Eligibility for 30-hour places:
30-hour places are available to families who are eligible and registered with HMRC. Please check eligibility here and give your valid 30-hour code to the school office as soon as possible. Parents are responsible for updating their details every three months to keep their place.
Reception and Years to 1 – 6
- Reception: 8:40am – 3:00pm
- Years 1 – 6: We deliver a 32.5 – hour school week – 8:40am – 3:10pm, Monday to Friday.
